What began more than two decades ago comes together this April at Salone del Mobile in Milan, where Skandilo will present a complete collection of Scandinavian furniture and interior objects. The launch brings together long-evolving pieces and newly introduced designs—forming a cohesive body of work shaped by continuity, refinement, and quiet discovery.

Rooted in a design legacy spanning more than 25 years, Skandilo builds on the work of Simo Lehtonen. His design journey began internationally in 2000 with Albicantes, a Scandinavian furniture and interior brand, the organically shaped pieces of which quickly gained recognition from leading design destinations such as 10 Corso Como, as well as galleries and institutions including MoMA and MOSS in New York.

Over the past two decades, Simo has quietly continued to develop his work—retaining full design rights while refining prototypes and creating one-off pieces in private. Alongside a career in finance and a life grounded in family, this ongoing practice has allowed his design language to evolve with clarity and intention, forming the foundation of Skandilo today.

Skandilo’s launch in Milan brings together reintroduced early works and new designs into one cohesive collection, unified by a philosophy of quiet refinement and relevance beyond trends. Crafted from marble and certified wood, each piece is defined by controlled proportions, refined detailing, and material integrity. Designed to support considered spaces, the collection offers a natural fit for both private and professional projects—anchoring interiors without dominating them.
